Can a mini PC run as well as desktop computers?

No matter how good the features of a computer, the parts inside it must be at ideal temperatures in order to work at full efficiency. Graphics card and processor temperatures are one of the factors that most affect the performance of a computer. Because inside computers Parts that produce the most heat graphics card and processor. If these two parts cannot be cooled sufficiently, a bottleneck problem will occur.

Although mini computers operate within the specified safe temperature values under load, their cooling performance cannot be as good as desktop computers. Because desktop computers have a system that cools the parts thanks to the fans inside them. creating airflow has the ability. Considering the number of fans that can be placed on Mini PCs and the size of the fans installed, it appears that they are behind desktop computers in terms of heat management.

Let there be no misunderstanding. What we want to say is not that minicomputers cause bottlenecks due to heat. Good mini PCs have a heat source Does not cause bottleneck problem. However, in order to avoid such a problem, the parts put into mini computers are selected to be less powerful than desktop computers. Although mini computers have begun to develop with the developing technology in the field of cooling, they still have a long way to go before they catch up with desktop computers.

Let's talk about another issue where desktop computers have more advantages than mini PCs. Mini computers are much more compact devices than desktop models. Although this is an advantageous situation in terms of saving space, ease of configuration A big minus in terms of While it is possible to use a desktop computer like new for years by changing every part of it one by one, it becomes impossible after a while to follow the technology closely with mini computers.

So, what are the advantages of mini PCs over desktop computers? We have just said that they take up much less space than desktop computers. Although this situation brings a disadvantage on the configuration side, it is suitable for a user whose purpose is daily use. for a long time It won't bother you.

Another thing is that mini computers are much quieter devices. Again, the cooling system we just mentioned is less powerful than desktop computers, allowing the system to run much quieter. Inside 4-5 120 mm fans Where is the sound made by desktop computers, where is the sound made by mini PCs, some of which have tiny fans and some of which have no fans at all...

Not having huge fans inside the computer has another advantage other than sound. That is the dirt accumulated inside the computer. Our readers, who use computers especially in dusty environments, will understand. Desktop computers can accumulate an incredible amount of dust inside. the device due to dust. nothing happens to you It needs to be cleaned regularly. Mini computers can operate for a much longer period of time without needing to be cleaned.
