E-Bebek is Allegedly Hacked

With the digitalization of our lives, cyber security has gained great importance. Even though people do their best to avoid falling victim to hackers, undesirable events may occur from time to time. In addition, hackers can sometimes take control of popular internet channels through attacks. A new claim reveals that E-bebek, one of Türkiye's popular shopping sites, was attacked and the hackers demanded a ransom from the site officials.

In fact, E-bebek has already been talked about with various problems in the last few days. Users were declaring that they had difficulty accessing the website or could not access it at all, until the informational message that had just appeared on the home page of the site.

As of now, when you enter the site, the company has made a statement stating that they have been cyber-attacked and that for now, only the activities will continue in their physical stores. 

Allegedly, hackers demand 300 Bitcoin ransom from E-bebek

According to the claims of social media users, hackers took over E-bebek's database and set a password. As such, E-bebek's website has become inaccessible. Moreover, it is stated that the hackers who carried out this attack demanded a ransom of 300 Bitcoins, approximately 19 million TL, from E-bebek.
