Huawei's Desktop Processors May Compete with Intel

Chinese technology manufacturer Huawei has been under investigation by the US government for a long time. with their embargoes is trying. With a decision taken last year, the US government banned Huawei from working with US-based technology giants. As such, the company experienced serious problems in sectors such as smartphones and laptops. So now their own solutions working to produce.

One of the new products that Huawei is working on is “Kunpeng 920" series processors. These processors have not appeared in a product yet. The company has been working to make these processors available for a long time. Recent developments show that these processors are now almost ready. Also, it seems to desktop computers Kunpeng 920 offers better performance than Intel's Core i9-9900K.

Processors belonging to the Kunpeng 920 family can expand to 64-core structures. 7nm The processors with the production process have the TaiShan v110 microarchitecture. In addition, consumers, this processor 64 cores They will be able to choose up to 64 MB cache capacity in their versions. However, Huawei's desktop computer processors seem to attract most of the attention with the performance they will offer.

Intel Core i9-9900K has an effective processor speed of approximately 42 GHz. When the virtualization feature is added to this, we see 46.8GHz' speed is increasing. This situation is a little more impressive in Huawei's upcoming processors. According to the information obtained, 24-core Kunpeng 920 processors are available to users. 62.4GHz It will offer effective speed. This power reveals that Huawei's processors will offer impressive performance not only for gaming but also for high-power operations.

There are still some products for Huawei's processors to be used in desktop computers. question marks available. While some sources state that this processor is special products derived from Cortex-A72, according to some sources, Huawei's new processors are derived from Cortex-A76. It's like this differences, making Kunpeng 920 difficult to understand.

It is currently unknown when Huawei will take an official step regarding its new processors. unknown. In addition, motherboards that can run these processors are not currently produced. Huawei has a device in which this processor is integrated. motherboard continues to work on the model. It is currently unclear whether users in any country other than China, including Turkey, will be introduced to this processor.
