What's new with Linux Mint 20
Linux Mint 20, Warpinator It comes with a new program called. Warpinator is a reintroduction of Giver, an old tool in Linux Mint 6 designed for file sharing between local networks. Since Giver's development process was not continuing, the program was removed from Linux Mint.
with Warpinator program giverThe function offered to users is being revived. Thanks to Wapinator, file sharing can be done between devices connected to the same network. One of the biggest benefits of the program is that it makes file sharing much easier than FTP or Samba. The program, which lists available computers, is included in all three versions of Linux Mint.
Another innovation other than Warpinator is the improved NVIDIA Optimus had support. This NVIDIA widget shows GPU renderers and allows switching between the integrated graphics card and the external graphics card via the menu.
In the new version NVIDIA On-Demand It also has support. This profile uses the integrated graphics adapter for rendering. Additionally, users can use two new commands to upload renders: “nvidia-optimus-offload-glx”, “nvidia-optimus-offload-vulkan”

- New interface for the Gdebi tool used to open and install files with .deb extension
- APT recommendations are enabled by default for newly installed bundled programs
- Live Sessions running under Virtualbox can be viewed at 1024 x 768 or higher resolution
- Various theme improvements
