New Drag and Drop Feature Coming to Browsers

Many internet users now know that they can immediately open files in another tab by dragging them through the browser. Thanks to the drag and drop feature, you can easily move the contents of supporting file types to another tab. Recently a Microsoft Edge developer According to the information revealed by Microsoft, a new feature is coming to both Microsoft's Chromium-based browser and technology giant Google's Chrome browser. As you know, in current and previous versions of Google Chrome and many other browsers, when you drag and drop a file onto the browser, it opens in a new tab.  

Although this feature was useful, it could lead to undesirable results on some pages. In fact, when you move a website on Google Chrome using the drag and drop feature, you may find that these files are not very compatible with the feature. If you are not careful, the result will be the loss of the site and files, which is extremely frustrating. fortunately Google is preparing to solve this problem. If you drag any file, image or video on the Google Chrome or Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser window, you will see that the content you moved opens directly in the other tab. 

Drag and drop improves with Chromium 85.0.4163.0: 

Chromium 85.0.4163.0 Google has decided to make a change in this regard. When we consider the default feature, the drag and drop feature will open the file in a new tab instead of the current tab. To open the file in the current tab, the file must be dragged to the top of the screen and left on the tab. It should be noted that this new drag and drop feature has already been added to the latest Canary update. The feature will soon be available in technology giant Microsoft's Chromium-based Edge browser. It is expected to be harmonized.
